Snorkeling Tours

Beginner to advance pure snorkeling tours. 2 to 2.5hrs
Snorkeling in Mahebourg bay is generally possible all year round but is optimal in the summer months, as you would expect from Tropical Island. Mahebourg bay is located on the southeast coast of Mauritius; this ancient port has the biggest and best-preserved lagoon in Mauritius. The water-depth vary considerably, much of the snorkeling sites are in the shallow (1m-8m) part of the lagoon and falls where patches of corals stands out within its turquoise water. This makes for a top underwater visibility which allows even the surface snorkelers to appreciate the extensive coral formation. In summer, November to April the Water temperature is between 27 and 31 degrees and it’s generally less windy. Tours are offered locally as the sites are accessible by boat and the most experience at it is Case Nautique in Mahebourg. The tours generally last 2hrs. We booked a 3-site snorkeling tour with Case Nautique. Easy to communicate with from the very first moment, the whole staff was extremely kind, friendly and highly attentive. We spent a couple of hours snorkeling in the Mahebourg lagoon nearby Île aux Aigrettes and not only. A coral paradise that we didn’t expect. Thank you very much for making us part of the beautiful and unfortunately endangered ecosystem that is here in Mauritius! The memory of those underwater beauties will long stay in my heartutique with no doubt.

We did a 2 hrs 3 sites guided snorkeling trip. It was amazing, there were so many corals and fish. Best snorkeling in my life! We had a private boat and the guide Adrian was really nice and showed us a lot. Stephanie, the woman at the shop, was also very friendly. The communication via WhatsApp was good and after the dive we had coffee and a really nice chat with her.

An excellent day in kayak. 2h in the mangrove with a guide, who brought us to the Aigrettes island. Then we went alone to île au deux cocos. We ended our trip at the public beach of blue bay, yes the boss came to get us. A great day with the nautical case. Go there they are all adorable.
