Marine Equipment Rentals
Our team at Case Nautique and Ubike will help with the essentials for a great day in Mauritius. We do full day as well as multiple days hire, we also have after-hours drop off facility.
Our snorkeling, kayaks and bicycle equipment are of good quality, and we have a range of sizes for you to choose from. The option of rash vests and or wet-suits are also available.
Multi-Day Rental:
Two Day Rental – Full 1st Day price, 2nd day rental 20% discount
Three – Six Days Rental – Full 1st Day price, 2nd & 3rd day rental 30% discount
Six or More Days Rental – Full 1st Day price, Subsequent days 50% discount
Hygiene Standards:
For your personal hygiene, our equipment is sanitised, cleaned, checked and maintained after every use. Our wetsuits are thoroughly shampooed using environmentally safe products to keep them comfortable.
Rental Terms and Conditions:
- We strongly recommend wearing a rash top to protect yourself from the sun as well as fins for added propulsion and safety.
- Please respect all Marine Reserve regulations.
- Case Nautique and affiliates are not responsible for the actions of individuals to whom the equipment is hired.
- Our Kayaks are to be used within our supervised zone.
- The hirer accepts all charges for damaged/lost equipment.
- No refunds are given for unused equipment.
- All rented equipment must be returned by 5.00pm unless you have arranged to take advantage of our after-hours drop off.

Quality Standards:
For your own safety our bicycles are cleaned, checked and maintained after every use.
Rental Terms & Conditions:
1.All Renters should be given a receipt with telephone no. and after-hours telephone.
2. Renters agrees to wear all safety equipment provided. (Helmet and Fluro-vest).
3. All renters are to be provided with a bicycle lock (one lock for 2 bikes ok).
4. All non-residents should give. Hotel or villa name, room number and full name, passport number, country, date of
Departure and provide a digital copy of passport.
5. Renter is to note U-Bike after-hours number to be use in emergency only.
6. Renter should test ride the bicycle and ask to adjust the settings on the bike before taking on hire.
7. Renter is returned before 5pm, if not then before 9:30 am otherwise half a day penalty is applied.
8. Renter agrees that if Renter and/or the bicycle need to be rescued to pay Rs100 to rs800 per bike depending on the
distance from hire place.
9. Renter is not to use the bicycle off sealed roads unless a mountain bike and it’s a reasonable short cut.
10. Renter is responsible for damages or lost, I will be responsible for repair/parts or cost of replacement of the bicycles.
11. Renter to keep the bicycle under shelter and locked when not riding.
12. Renter that if the bicycle is returned excessively unclean or with sand, I will be charges Rs150.
13. Renter is to fully recognize that there are dangers and risks to which the renter may be exposed by participating in Ubike
Rental Program (the “Activity”).
14. As Renter, I understand that Ubike makes no representations as to the condition of the bicycles, helmets, and bike locks
we lend (“Equipment”), and Equipment is made available as an accommodation, and not a service, to Ubike Renters
and friends. I am well advised to check the condition of the Equipment prior to use, and to notify Ubike of any discovered
problems or defects in the Equipment. Ubike does not require me to participate in this Activity, but I want to do so
despite the possible dangers and risks and despite this Release. With informed consent, and for valuable consideration
received, including assistance provided by Ubike, as the undersigned Renter, I agree to assume and take on myself all of
the risks and responsibilities in any way arising from or associated with this Activity, and I release Ubike and all of its
affiliates and partners, and their respective governing boards, officers, directors, legal representatives, members,
employees, administrators, assigns, and contractors from and against any and all Liabilities. I understand and agree that
should the bike be lost or stolen while under the terms of this release, collectively “Releases”), from any and all claims,
demands, suits, judgments, damages, actions and liabilities of every name and nature whatsoever, whenever occurring,
whether known or unknown, contingent or fixed, at law or in equity, that I may suffer at any time arising from or in
connection with the Activity, including any injury or harm to me, my death, or damage to my property (collectively
“Liabilities”), and I agree to defend, indemnify, and save Release’s and/or allow harm to Ubike.
Activities Cancellation Conditions:
Cancelations conditions at Case Nautique, Ubike and Land & sea Active Tours:
- If booking cancelled on schedule date. 100% cancellation fee will be applicable.
- If cancellation is made 48 hours before schedule date, 50% cancellation fee will be applicable.
- Weather conditions not suitable TO CLIENTS, 100% cancellation fee applicable.
- In the event of a no-show, your entire payment will be forfeited.
- In case of cancellation recommended by the authorities due to bad weather, you will have to choose another date or obtain a refund of 50% of the amount paid.
